Each of these languages carries its own culture, its own context — and its own community in the UK. Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi (Gurmukhi) and Punjabi (Shahmukhi) together represent the mother tongue of millions of British residents.

When precise communication matters most — on a conference stage, in a courtroom, a police interview or a hospital consultation — you need an interpreter who doesn't just speak the language but lives it.

Kashif Khalid – Chartered Linguist
Hello, I'm

Kashif Khalid.

You don't hire an interpreter simply because they speak another language. You hire someone who can carry meaning, nuance and trust when every word matters.

I'm a Chartered Linguist and professional interpreter specialising in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi. For more than 10 years, I've worked in environments where accuracy isn't optional — from Crown Courts and police custody suites to hospitals, tribunals, government institutions and international conferences across five continents.

Whether interpreting simultaneously for hundreds of delegates at a global summit or facilitating a sensitive one-to-one interview, I deliver the same standard every time: linguistic precision, complete impartiality and absolute professionalism.

Clear communication builds confidence. In high-stakes situations, it builds trust. Because when communication matters, there is no room for uncertainty.

Consecutive
Interpretation

Crown Courts Police Interviews NHS & Medical Conferences

Consecutive interpretation is the most personal form of professional interpreting — allowing conversations to flow naturally while ensuring every participant is understood with complete accuracy. I listen attentively, capture every nuance, and deliver your message faithfully, preserving meaning, tone and intent.

For over a decade, I have interpreted across Crown Courts, police interviews, NHS appointments, safeguarding meetings, conferences and commercial settings. Whether you're a solicitor, police officer, conference organiser or healthcare professional, you can rely on calm, impartial and accurate interpretation when every word matters.

Working in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, I help individuals, organisations and public sector bodies communicate with clarity, confidence and complete professionalism.

On the World Stage

Simultaneous &
Conference Interpretation

Conferences Diplomatic Meetings Corporate Events

Simultaneous interpretation demands absolute concentration, linguistic precision and the ability to deliver every message in real time without disrupting the speaker. It is one of the most demanding forms of professional interpreting — where accuracy, composure and deep subject knowledge are non-negotiable.

I provide simultaneous interpretation for international conferences, diplomatic meetings, trade delegations, corporate events and multilingual forums across Europe, South Asia and the Middle East. Whether working from a booth or on the conference floor, I ensure every speaker and every audience member is heard with complete clarity.

Working in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, I bring the same standard of professionalism to the world stage that I bring to every assignment — confident, precise and always prepared.

Courts & Custody Suites

Legal &
Court Interpretation

Crown Courts Police Custody Tribunals Solicitors

Legal interpretation demands absolute accuracy, professional impartiality and a thorough understanding of legal procedure. In courtrooms, police custody suites and solicitor consultations, every word can influence decisions — making precision and confidentiality non-negotiable.

As a CIOL Registered Chartered Linguist with over 10 years of professional experience, I provide trusted interpretation for Crown Courts, Magistrates' Courts, police interviews, immigration tribunals and legal proceedings across the UK. Every statement is conveyed faithfully, impartially and in full accordance with the standards expected by the UK Courts & Tribunals Service.

Working in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, I bring calm authority and linguistic precision to some of the most high-stakes environments in the justice system — where the consequences of getting it wrong are simply not an option.

Distance should never be a barrier to clear communication. I provide secure, real-time remote interpretation for courts, NHS appointments, business meetings, hybrid conferences, legal consultations and multilingual events — delivering the same accuracy, professionalism and impartiality as any on-site assignment.

Experienced with CVP, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Interprefy and telephone interpreting, I help organisations connect across languages with confidence and ease. Whether supporting a local tribunal hearing or an international conference with participants across multiple countries, every conversation flows seamlessly.

Working in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, I ensure that no participant is left behind — wherever they are in the world, their voice is heard with complete clarity and professionalism.

Written Language Services

Translation,
Transcription & More

Translation Transcription Proofreading DTP

Accurate written communication demands the same precision as spoken interpretation — and often greater care. I provide professional written translation between English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi for legal documents, official correspondence, business materials, medical records and personal certificates. Every translation is faithful to the original in meaning, tone and intent.

Beyond translation, I offer audio and video transcription, converting recordings into accurate written text in English or the source language — invaluable for legal proceedings, research, media and compliance purposes. Editing, proofreading and quality-checking services are also available to ensure existing translations meet professional standards before use.

For publishers, agencies and organisations working with Hindi, Urdu or Punjabi scripts, I also provide desktop publishing (DTP) support — ensuring translated documents are correctly formatted, right-to-left text is properly typeset, and the final output is print- or publication-ready to the highest professional standard.
